In case Ward somehow fights (which I don't think) Pascal and beats him, then the ring will rate Ward as TBE.

Was hoping for a better fight for Beterbiev before getting lined up with Kovalev. Outside of the meta bs between GYM & Duva it probably would have been better just to have taken the Kovalev fight out of the gate. I think GYM's strat here is to get a belt via Kov vacating doe since once Beterbiev is the mandatory its a guarantee it'll go to purse bid, & a solid bet GYM will win & its another solid bet that Kovalev will be forced to vacate since he apparently has a slave contract with HBO where purse bids don't come into play or Duva isn't willing to upset HBO for a mandatory off HBO even if she is contractually able to.

he chooses to fight murat(on the undercard) and then another fight for a vacant belt instead of accepting the kovalev fight(main event and 3 belts) straight away. cowards do exist. don't ever try and say beterbiev is looking to fight the best or some crap like that. no he's looking to grab an easy belt and become a "star" by knocking out unworthy opponents. he's like the bizarro ggg. ggg tried to fight everyone in his division, beterbiev tries to fight nobody.

          That's what I've been saying

Beterbiev was calling out Kovalev for a while, saying he wants to beat him, blah blah bull **** - and what happens? Kovalev offers him quite a deal for 3 ****ing belts in their home of Russia.. Beterbiev didn't want it. Unbelievable really, he said he'd fight Kovalev soon let's just wait

Want a ridiculous rating? Jim Lampley and The Fight Game have moved Ward into the number 1 spot on their P4P list simply because he has had one fight. They claim that his Super Six achievements are enough for him to rate the top of the P4P rankings, even though that was four years ago.

And people wonder why normal sports fans do not look at boxing as a serious sport?

Light heavyweight contender Artur Beterbiev (9-0, 9KOs) is having a very difficult time finding an opponent to face him an IBF final eliminator on November 28th at the Videotron Centre in Quebec, Canada. The event will be headlined by James DeGale defending his IBF super middleweight championship against Canadian superstar Lucian Bute.

To be fair, all those above Murat in the rankings (Chilemba, Gonzalez, Hopkins, Barrera, etc) turned the fight down.

Degale-Bute, Beterbiev-Marat, Chilemba-Barrera as your TV tripleheader. top flight night, imo.

And once Kovalev vacates the belt after Beterbiev becomes mandatory (see no reason to think that Marat wins), you then have Beterbiev vs Rodriguez/Seals winner for the vacant IBF 175 belt (Fonfara/Cleverly winner vs Dominic Boesel could also put Kovalev in a position where he'd have to vacate the WBO belt as well)
