Comments Thread For: Beterbiev-Murat Bout in Play, Gonzalez Takes a Pass

Beterbiev vs. Murat will be on November 28th on the undercard of Degale-Bute.

Y Gonzalez said no to the IBF final eliminator, so they asked Murat (next highest ranked by the IBF) and he said yes.

I've read rumors of Gonzalez-Ward on the Cotto-Alvarez undercard.

But I think Ward will fight someone easier.

... What "easier" does mean? He is ranked as #2 P4P by the Ring.

                Agreed.

Maybe Beterbiev will be one of Ward's "3 tuneups"

I'd love to see someone attempt to clinch Beterbiev, the guy is a tank

That's a ridiculous rating, considering Ward has fought only Smith (coming off 2 losses) in the past two years.

So the #2 ranked Beterbiev will fight the #14 ranked Murat and the winner gets the #1 ranking and the mandatory shot...
