    Haymon is giving Lara every opportunity to shine in these headline events and Lara hasn't exactly been able to deliver to the fans. Lara now has to impress. He should've finished Delvin in the 6th round instead he carried him till the end.

    He should finish Zaveck in this one to make a real statement. Another wide UD win isn't going to do it.

                Why? Lara is going to 12-0 him and people aren't gonna be impressed. Zaveck should be matched up with prospects, not proven elite guys like Lara ffs...

                    I remember that fight.

                    The shady referee was clearly on Berto's side. Zaveck was doing well, he was coming on just before the fight was stopped after that (deliberate?) headbutt that caused a cut the ref incorrectly called opened by a punch.

                            Not surprised. Lara has already fought everyone in his division. He can't fight the Charlos and Julian Williams is supposed to fight Trout next.

                            I expected a better opponent though. Lara vs Willie Nelson would have been more acceptable and probably more entertaining as well.

                                        Another showcase fight for the runner. Proven recipe for mismatched fights. Charlo, or with similar style, would have been some kind of a chessmatch.
