Ward is basically the derrick rose of boxing..
ward was acting like goosen and hbo wouldn't give him fights which simply wasn't true. they wanted him to be one of their go-to guys but he simply refused to fight good opposition. he demanded to fight unknown guys and bums and thats why he never fought. why does he have fans?

Although I'm not a fan of wards style, I acknowledge he's a skilled and great fighter. But you just can't compliment a guy who fights the paul smith of the world once a year.

If he wants to fight journeymen like Smith, Ward needs to humble himself and accept some low paydays.

You can take it to the bank that ward isn't fighting again this yr. we r well into October and there hasn't been anything announced so it's pretty much a wrap that there's no plan. Plus even if he fights it won't be anybody credible cuz the promotion needs time and exposure.

Jay Z is not bankrupt like Fiddy. He has the resources to get Ward a big fight, if Ward is open to it.

But, Jay Z never does anything if it might lose money. But you gotta think big, be willing to lose some money if you want to make it in the long run. And hopefully just be enough of a fan, that you don't mind losing a bit in the beginning to run your own boxing promo.

            Ward's career might be finished.
Jay Z has no participation in any of the business decisions for RNS. He is just a partial owner of the entity. This is why the whole Haymon/Jay Z beef with regards to fights between the two companies has no merit. It's just an excuse that fans bring up for fights not being made.

He comes across as someone who just want to sneak in and out of the ring thinking that no one would notice.

This thing about GGG fans not wanting to see him fight Ward is so ****** to me. Those who say so are idiots. (Fans can't stop boxers from fighting who they want to fight in the first place, eg, Floyd fighting Berto, Garcia fighting Salsa..)

Bottom line is Ward can always get the GGG fight if he wanted it. Hagler put it succintly, "I'll even visit his house and fight him in his living room."

It will always be up to the fighters. No one else. Ward is not interested in GGG. He just pretends he is.

He can still fight on the Cotto/Canelo undercard....the main event is why a majority of people will buy it in the first place

That's the problem with some boxers, they have too much say on who they fight I am willing to accept when they don't want easy tune-ups and/or easy mandatory fights but it happens way too much now...
I don't really know If this three fight tune-up thing is true but we shall see, Ward shouldn't be fighting soft touches If he really thinks he is the best boxer in the world.

Ward wants to fight on the Cotto-Canelo undercard and share the PPV profits and be a co-main event. BUT he only wants to fight another empty can like Smith. The man is delusional.

Maybe he took more damage during the Super Six than anyone ever realized and should go for an MRI or something.
