My only question would be why the f*** Gonzalez would want to jeopardize a promising career with 2 straight losses ? I don't think it will end up well for him, but whatever... Let's make it happen...

What weight will this be at?

      Gonzalez's last 3 fights have been at 177, 178, and 188.

Beterbiev is a big guy and could really benefit from those few extra pounds.

Beterbiev beat Atoev in the amateurs, he got robbed. Beterbiev was walking through Atoev's shots and hurting him. If it was a pro fight, Beterbiev would've KO'd him, typical amateur boxing with it's horrible scoring.

... they all give the impression of being unstoppable. Which one folds first?
Beterbiev got put on the floor by Jeff Page Jr.
          That was a legit KD.

I honestly have no idea, it's very disappointing.

Two fights this year for KOvalev is very unfortunate considering one of them was a light-touch mandatory opponent. Obviously he had a top-victory over Pascal but I REALLY wanted him to finish the year off with a strong voluntary defense to keep the momentum going. Gonzalez would of been the perfect opponent for that, he doesn't have any spectacular victories (yet) but I think he is a top 175lber.

How would Adonis do against Yunieski? Based on what I saw in the Pascal fight, Gonzalez would beat him, in my opinion.

It's disappointing, BUT, the only way I can be slightly okay with this...... Is some kind of agreement for Ward-Kovalev is made for January or February and that fight basically becomes "official."

I really like this fight. Hope it gets made. A great test of Beterbiev's KO power or how he does if he can't KO a guy.

HBO budget for boxing is dropped significantly. They can't afford to get Kov on 3 times now that he makes decent money.

Yeah, they are going to build to ward v Kov.

How do you think Kathy reacts when HBO forces Kov to do VADA testing and forces Kathy to pay for it?

She wanted VADA testing for the Pascal fight.

Ward has avoided PED testing. Was one of the reasons he refused to fight Abraham in Germany is that Sauerland Events at that time was in a contract requiring OST for all fighters on their cards there?

How would Ward react to doing VADA testing? Would he be strong enough to clamp and clinch Kovalev without PEDs?
