Blah, Blah, Blah. Cotto is Champion of the MW division without ever fighting at MW

    But that is fine huh.

GGG has fought the best that are willing to fight him that move him up. And I know, you will bring up CoWard.

That fight he tried to get GGG to take was for 16 months down the road.

GGG has much work to do at the MW division. He will soon unify another belt. He will get crack at Lineal or outright given it (which you guys will say is somehow tainted when Canelo ducks him), and he will unify the division.

Then he will have a shot at breaking B-Hops record.

You dont get in this position without earning it.

And ignoring the fact that most fighters with something to lose have ducked GGG, well that is just sure bias.

The point is..... your choice of the word " growing ".

" growing " is something that flowers do..... by themselves, with a little water and hot air.

You " construct " a resume, by beating notable opponents..... a resume does not grow by itself, unless you happen to be drinking a lot of koolaid.

And I am not bashing Golovkin like you seem to think.

He is a very good fighter, and a beast at 160.

I am just pointing out that Golovkin is obviously not this avoided killer who will fight anyone, he is obviously subject to the exact same risk/reward decisions as every other fighter.

He is a very good fighter, a beast at 160..... but he is campaigning in a very weak middleweight division, and he does not have any notable wins on his resume.

You think that is somehow not his fault, because you have believed the marketing hype..... but I know that it is his fault, because of the usual risk/reward decisions that happen to be common-place within the sport.

I dont hear any other fighters blaming someone else for their underwhelming resume.

When they CHOSE Monroe over Lara, they CHOSE to trade-off a respected name opponent for the huge payday that is Willie Monroe Jnr. Fcuk me !

      Keyword = CHOSE !

Well, you certainly cannot blame someone else for your own decision.

They got exactly what they wanted with Monroe, so they have the exact resume that they want/deserve. You certainly can't have both.

And making that decision, despite Golovkin receiving criticism for his underwhelming resume from certain circles, does tell a story...... they simply dont care, because Golovkin has good momentum as their PR campaign seems to be working swimmingly.

But during the last few days Team Golovkin have overdone the Ward thing. If nobody is interested in Ward, like they say..... then they should stop talking about him, or it will just get worse.

Golovkin is a terrific fighter, but stop drinking the koolaid.

Great call chief and why wouldn't he be, he's in it to make money, not to get punched in the face for fun.

And I have no doubt Triple G will fight Ward eventually. It's Abel who needs to shut his mouth.

            And great call yourself.

It is mostly Loeffler and Sanchez, true.

Not sure about the Ward fight though.

I highly doubt it, because of timing.

Team Sanchez clearly do not want that fight, and Ward will likely move up.
