Broner has zero star power anymore...pathetic. This guy was killing the ratings when he was on HBO and a couple of his first fights on Showtime.

I noticed both of Matthysse fights since he left Haymon have come on nights when Al puts one of his fighters on showtime...I'm sure that isn't a coincidence.

Haymon/Espinoza scheduled their Oct 3rd card knowing full well that HBO already had a card scheduled for that day. Knowing them they purposely did it. They know they wouldnt be able to beat HBO's ratings, but if you ask me, their intentions were to hurt HBO's ratings. That seems to be the Haymon motto. Just like when he gave away thousands of free tickets when he and Kathy Duva both had cards at the same night in Las Vegas this past summer.

Showtime deciding to go ahead and air a fight at the same day and time as the HBO Matthysee fight which was announced weeks if not months earlier is to blame for this. It split the audience and both networks suffered. The key takeaway is Broner does not have the star power he or his fans think he does. These are lower then avg for HBO but these are bad ratings for Showtime which paid Broner more money then Matthysee and Postol got combined for a joke mismatch fight that got terrible ratings. Plus I heard he couldn't sell out in his own hometown.

Haymon is trying to make the Networks irrelevant... and make himself more important... HBO spotted it... that weasel Espinoza is clearly not working in CBS/Showtime's best interests.

No problem in having head-to-head telecast when it's premium tv cuz people watch one fight live and dvdr the other so there's not really a problem unless it's on free tv because of the avertisers and premium tv doesn't have thse so I guess it's all good.

Broner lost a lot of that FIomo fan base who only jump on winning band wagons with the Porter fight...

Where is Canelo's fight that did over 2.1 rating on HBO and he's not a Haymon fighter. Wilder/Duhapas did a weak 1.6 rating on Network tv the lowest one to date on NBC. PBC ratings across the board have been declining at a sharp rate. I think that's why you are seeing a shift with Haymon sending his fighters back to showtime. They are losing millions on these PBC fights with bad tv ratings and little to no advertising money. It's back to suckering Showtime to overpay for fights instead of Haymon and his investors overpaying for fights on PBC.

The big difference that no one is talking about is that
Haymon tries to put on showcase fights and than you get robberies like cherry getting shafted 117-111. That was a joke.

Broner fought another tune up off a layoff. Get broner in real fights. Well. His lack luster rating will call for that.

Hbo is putting on competitive fights in which the underdog scores a damaging ko.

Hbo is buliding fighters. Showtime and pbc are running showcase robberies
