But its a quality fight, and Povetkin most likely wont be ready for January anyway (entirely Wilders fault).

Any top 10 HWs getting in the ring is good by me.

Povetkin was Wlad's mandatory for years literally. I doubt he's going to be all butthurt for fighting Wilder a few months after he might have in the first place. It's a win-win for him. Either ups the Povetkin-Wilder fight's value with a win over another top 10 opponent, or he loses and Povetkin is still the mandatory to fight Jennings, an easier fight for him.

Again as long as he is fighting a good opponent I have no problem with him taking another fight before Povetkin

povetkin was green when teddy atlas advised him to wait for wlad. if wilder does indeed fight jennings next I may ease up on him a bit but it was still ridiculous to fight those 2 bums and try to further delay povetkin. I have no problem with a fighter taking an easy opponent in his first defense but the second one was inexcuasable. that dude fought like a club fighter and shouldnt have been fighting for a title

Somehow I think they'd be OK with it.
Ali had what 30 title fights and all you can name is 3 tomato Cans Yet Wilder to date hasn't fought anyone with a heart beat in 34 fights

If it's Jennings I guess its all right. I really want to see this match-up.

But you already knew that, didn't you?
Where do you get that idea?

Sasha fought less than one round in May and scheduled his next fight for November.

The last time he fought twice in less than five months was 2011-12. The last time he fought twice in 2 1/2 months -- which is what we'd get if he fought early November and early to mid January -- was 2010.

I don't see him suddenly eager to possibly go hard rounds with Wach and turn around and be in the gym the next day getting ready for Wilder.

What was ridiculous was Povetkin tryna fight the champ while he was still easing back his post surgery injured right hand and then taking a fight after negotiation date when he realised the champ's main weapon will be firing on all cylinders by Dec.

Fact that wilder would fight Jennings as a voluntary when fully healthy shows that he was never scared of any top ten opponents to begin with. Povetkin tried to take advantage and when it didn't work created a valid excuse for himself by fighting innov instead of Oct or sept. He the reason wbchad to move the date for negotiations
