What happens if Povetkin has an easy/quick night vs Wach and says he's ready for Wilder in December?

Good point but whats to stop negotiations taking place when fights are scheduled? Contracts can have 'what if' clauses inserted as in "this contract is null and void if one or other boxer loses prior to fight date".

Also >> at this rate, Wilder, if he can get past Povetkin, might beat that 49-0 record with a diet of no-hopers.

Alex, just wait your turn buddy.

Go fight Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker.

Wilder's schedule seems to have an opening in 2017.

If that's okay with you, Al Haymon will go ahead and pencil you in?

Did he forget what caused Povetkin to fight in November?

Hopefully the WBC will stand their ground. No reason for Wilder to face anyone but Povetkin next. Even if that means waiting for February.

Fair enough, nothing wrong with staying active as long as Povetkin is the first opponent of 2016.

            Also,

Deontay Wilder is the heavyweight champion of the world.

Problem is Wilder will probably put off the Povetkin defense until June or some ****, and this "activity" thing will look like bull****. AndPovetkin is only fighting someone else in November because Wilder's side is putting it off.

I hope I'm wrong and the fight happens in March or April.

People are overreacting as usual. Povetkin has fought every 6 months approximately before. So if the fight is in May or June, Wilder will have to sit on his ass from September 2015 to May 2016.

There is nothing wrong with staying active.

                    May or June? Jesus.

This fight was supposed to happen in 2015.

Yeah but nobody said negotiations aren't gonna take place as scheduled, they jus said that IF Povetkin ain't ready in Dec or Jan then they taking another voluntary.

Doubt it gets as far as 49 nil since Wilder has categorically stated numerous times that he wants Klitschko's by the end of 2016.

You're right about Wilder's comp level, but I don't exactly see anyone lining up to fight Wilder either. Nobody has called him out at all since he became champ, and I mean nobody in the top ten.

Everyone is quiet. Deontay on the other hand called out Fury, he even tried to convince Fury on twitter to fight him instead of Klitschko before the fight was made. He stated after Dehaupus fight " I want Kliitschko by the end of 2016, people gotta be patient because we both mandatories (povetkin and fury)that we gotta take care of.

So yeah he fighting mediocre comp, but he ain't ducking the big boys either, in fact, the big boys don't seem interested either. Povetkin waiting till after negotiation date to take a voluntary when he wasn't doin nutn the whole time suggests that he isn't as willing as he made the public believe earlier when the negotiation date was far away. Jennings is quiet and Barmain Stirvirne hasn't pushed hard, if at all for a rematch. Klit and Fury are occupied with each other so can't say nutn bwt them, but where are the other big boys?

Why ain't they lining up for Wilder? The champ ain't supposed to call people out, he supposed to be called out. Deontay is calling out the 'real' champ Klitschko's, but nobody calling him out. Who's the one ducking strong comp?
