Bernard Hopkins, who was last seen losing a clear cut decision to Sergey Kovalev last November in Atlantic City, still has designs on fighting one last time. And his swan song could come just weeks after his 51st birthday.
"I'm looking to go somewhere in January, I guess before the Super Bowl at the Barclay Center which has set aside a date for me and do my last one," said Hopkins on Saturday night underneath the bowels of the StubHub Center, where Golden Boy Promotions, staged the Viktor Postol-Lucas Matthysse card. The date being targeted is January 30th.
