Matthysse can't fight inside, he never showed inside fighting skills. He needs space to get off with his Power and Postol took that spacing from him and broke his ass down. Refs are not going to take points as long as fighters break when the ref tells them to break. Points get taken when the ref say Break and you don't break and they literally has to step in and break fighters apart that is when Warnings are issued about breaking when the Ref Says.

I wish more ref would do like Robert Byrd and just stay back and let guys figure things out on the inside on their own and make them fight out. You can cry about it all you want but clearly it is not going to change anytime soon.

This. Can't believe he got a title shot coming off a loss, against someone, coming off a loss. Unfortunately it's what the modern era has turned into, titles don't mean as much as they used to.

Broner has lost or looked bad everytime he's stepped up the level of opposition: Quintero, Ponce De Leon, Malignaggi, Maidana and Porter. Demarco is the only exception.

Has Broner ever beat anyone as good as Peterson or even Provo? How well would he do against Postol? Not very. Postol has him beat in every department, he'll even out clinch the little plastic champ.
