Ok I get what everyone is saying but actually listen to what the interviewer is saying. He said its nothing compared to trying to take over after Floyd. 4 titles in 4 weight classes is an accomplishment but why I don't care is Broners mouth. No one was bashing him but after the interviewer said nothing Broner went full defensive without thinking of what was actually said. Broner will never be Floyd and is one of the most overrated, lazy fighters in the sport. I'd put him up there with Chavez Jr. I hope he proves me wrong but I just haven't seen it until this point.

To be honest, in this day and age titles mean very little when you look around and notice than pretty much every other fighter has some sort of alphabet title.

Titles will hold alot more weight when there's 1 title per weight class and there's an an elimination tournament like in every other sport in order to get it.

You think this title opportunity for Matthysse and Postol tonight means very little to them?

WHO CARES about these fugasi titles?! Beat somebody! That's how fighters are judged. When your best win is skin tight win over Paulie you haven't proven anything yet. Beat someone real. Anyone. Bradley. Khan. Pac. Garcia. Porter. Brook. Thurman. Spence. Provodnikov. Matthysse. Maidana. JMM. Peterson. Herrera. Alexander. Crawford. That's 16 guys off top of my head across 2 divisions. Beat one. Someone. Anyone. Then get back to me.

I have nothing but respect for that man. He goes and supports his son wherever he needs to be. He plays along with the typical Broner act when he needs to promote a fight, but if you watch any interview with him on his own, he's down to earth and has time for anybody

My comment wasnt just for Broner. Its goes for all fighters across the board. The prestige of being a title holder has been severely watered down.

I forgot who said it (may have been Foreman) but it was pertaining to this topic. This person said something along the lines of..."everyone's a champ nowaday's. You walk into any gym and say "hey champ" and half the gym turns around!"
