Too bad he's a damn CHEAT, doe.

Big asterisk in his record once everything has been said and done. I know everyone involved are keeping quiet hoping it would just silently go away.

I didn't bring up how long they've been boxing. I brought up age. And Floyd was a couple months shy of 22 when he won his first belt & Julio Sr was a couple months into his 22nd year when he won his. I think age is a more honest assessment of a point in ones carer than the # of bouts they've had is my point. I would say years active is a better assessment of that then # of bouts to, but I still feel like age is the best.

In this age of super and junior titles that didn't exist before. different eras. Plus back then guys fought more. A more reasonable argument is how many HOFers did each guy fight and importantly when did they fight them.

Sugar Ray Robinson, Leonard, Pep, Ali, etc blow away the competition if you rate it this way.

which one is lower than floyd?
Ali and Duran aren't in my top 5, but Joe Louis is.

                2. Armstrong
                3. Louis

Those guys resumes could be condensed into 30 quality fights , each had only 2-4 real elite guys on their resume , geez Robinson fought and beat over 100 cans some had 25 loses on their resumes , dont get all caught up in the numbers break down the opponents and the opponents form leading into the fight , its like the old racehorses raced every couple of weeks , not today the competition is too hard .

Like Louis and his well documented bum a month run , you cannot fight the best guys every mth , against the very best competition 4 times a year maximum , then there must be soft touches in amongst it or lengthy spells .
