That's when challenging yourself comes into it, once he is done with 160 he can always move up to 168 where he would have better challenges.
Hopkins had to go through the same thing until he moved up and started taking on fighters in a higher weight class and winning.
He is just an pretender...

If wrote those with a straight face just stop following this sport please.
Froch and Kessler are better than any Ggg win no doubt, but remember what Wards best scalp Froch said when Ggg offered to fight him in the UK: we'll swerve him if we can.

Second - unlike Wilder, GGG fought the best middleweights available to him. His opponents were rated in top 10 at his weight, even though you like to ridicule them. Wilder's opponents except Stiverne are not top 10 heavyweights. Also it looks like he is trying to avoid his mandatory in Povetkin. And don't try to bring Ward and presumable "ducking" of him by GGG. Situations are not similar - Ward is not in his weightclass and wasn't willing and able to go there, he wasn't even willing to go halfway.
2. Stiverne was a world champion, and Wilder took his title in very impressive fashion. For all of his top 10 wins, Golovkin is yet to face a champion actually holding a belt. The general consensus though is that Wilder needs to prove himself, even though he's proven that he can beat world champions, while GGG is some force of nature that is among the best fighters in the world, fighting in a division devoid of any real talent sans Miguel Cotto.
GGG is a fantastic boxer and probably best middleweight in the world ("Probably" because I never count Cotto out; Sue me), but when speaking P4P you have to prove you're one of the best, not just look like you might be.

They are not blind, they know what they see in GGG. And this makes them uncomfortable, when they project what might happen with their favorite fighters. Otherwise I don't see the reason for this hostility. This is mostly about Cotto fans.Last edited by doom_specialist; 09-30-2015, 04:49 AM.

When you've cleaned your division out to the point that there's no one to challenge your reign after 20 months, and the only threat you have is the very best guy at the weight division above you, I'd say that's a sign of dominance.
