The most ******ed article I've read about anything. From start to finish it's complete *****. Anything to distract ****** people from the fact that Povetkin has been waiting forever and is the mandatory. Really Lyle, just stop writing because you suck bags of ****s.

Wilder, and his team, need to be devising a game plan and strategies on how to beat Povetkin. This is a very winnable fight for Wilder but he needs to tighten his defense and tweak a couple of facets of his game.
I think Wilder-Povetkin will be a bit of a letdown. But yes Wilder will make Povetkin shortly after Povetkin beats Wach (assuming he does, not a sure thing IMHO), might try to squeeze one more fight in there beforehand.

        Briggs, I mean wut

The sad and funny part is that he's more well known and has a better shot at winning over anyone in Wilders entire career.

I don't think Briggs has a chance at all. Wilder could just drag him into deep waters should it go beyond 3 rounds... Briggs has no conditioning anymore, he's just an ageing steroid wreck.

The French journeyman did pretty good.

              This ^^

For some reason it seems like they still believe the Stiverne victory was enough to last a while, like winning the title was it and that gave earn them a long break. The Stiverne fight was GREAT but it is well in the past now. Enough small time fighters, time to DEFEND that title FOR REAL and ADD to that resume instead of wasting your prime on guys who don't add anything to the weight of your legacy.

I really like and respect Wilder though so my post is more directed towards his team. Deontay is the kind of guy that fights EVERYBODY if it was up to him. He is appreciative of where he is at and gives respect and place to Haymon which is why he goes along with their plan.

I think Nohopeus did good, but Briggs is a lot more experienced and is very durable. I mean, the guy has last been stopped by Lennox 17 years ago when he was 35 lbs lighter. If Molina can hang with and hurt Wilder, I have no problem believing that Briggs can.

Here is a fact. Briggs would be the biggest name on Wilders tomato can resume. Sadly that is a fact. For the money and attention it would get in the US it also make more sense $$$$ ching ching wise. Floyd did it most his career and got paid. He didnt fight the best at their best. He fought their names past their best. For the money! Briggs is a social media whore that makes waves. Those waves will bring money to the shore. Believe that! And like Wilder said..."wouldnt it be a fun three minutes" Even if it only lasted a round...who cares. But what if Briggs took him to school and cut his ***ing lights out alike old G of boxing?

IMO...Brigs needs to make a statement with his fist first. Not his mouth. Beat a good solid top 10 guy like

                  KUBRAT PULEV
                  BRYANT JENNINGS
                  BERMANE STIVERNE
                  VYACHESLAV GLAZKOV
                  RUSLAN CHAGAEV
                  TONY THOMPSON

Wrong! Shannon Briggs has had his time and it's up. He now needs to retire but can't because he's broke. At this stage of his career both Wlad and Deontay hurts him pretty badly.
