Khan is right, Chaves is really a C -level fighter at best. However, Khan needs to step up and fight someone notable himself. You can't be talking **** about other fighters when you don't step up. Let's say he doesn't get the Pacquiao fight then who will he fight next?

Khan just got by Algieri who is better than Chaves and humiliated Alexander, who you guessed it, is better than Chaves. I

Personally I don't mind the Chaves fight as long as Brook then fights someone better before summer 2016.

Well he isn't lying. And given the quality of his opposition over the course of his career, Khan is qualified to speak on it.

I get it though. They're trying to build Brook up. This is a good showcase fight for him. Hopefully it's setting up something big next year.

Devon Alexander and Algieri were both coming off very one sided losses when Khan cherry picked them.

Chaves is coming off winning handily against Rios and having a very competitive fight with Tim Bradley.

Chaves is clearly the better choice of opponent.
