Yes i know. It even upset me. The point was his intentions were good. He had a choice. He felt he could do it. Not all the time things work out like we intend them too.

He also hurt it again in the 4th. Had he not cared about the fans or losing the opportunity of giving the fans what they have wanted for so long he would have bailed on the fight.

The fight card was what made the event the PPV seem ten times worse, it was all glorified... junk
A weak undercard that had good names but they weren't facing solid competition that's where the problem came about with this PPV, remember the time we got Danny Garcia Vs Lucas Matthysse on the undercard?
Yeah well this is exactly what needs to happen again a fight of that magnitude to make-up for a possible ****-fest of a mainevent.

No lying about the fight though it was awful!!!!

In recent years I can't remember a worse PPV than this for me it's between -
Audley Harrison Vs David Haye (Yes this was a PPV)
      Manny Pacquiao Vs Floyd Mayweather

For the sheer price tag you really have to say Floyd Mayweathers event was ten times worse because I reccall seeing some good undercard fights on the Haye Vs Harrison card.

      Fights anyway for the fans.

Fights Floyd not knowing he cheated using IV to mask PEDs

Hurts his already hurt arm again in the 4th round and continues to do his best.

Takes a L hoping for another chance. So the fans would be pleased.

      Floyd ducks it!

      Manny takes time to recover.

He comes back and will fight the guy Floyd ducked like carzy.
If he does that I'd be rooting against Khan for the first time in ages, its a hard pick between the two both are genuine nice guys behind the scenes do their charity work unlike some and first and foremost they both for most part give the fans what they want.

Its hard to root against Khan. Id be happy to see either win in a great fight. I think the fight will be action packed. Lots of punches and fast. Khan will make Manny fight or he better. If he sits in the pocket Manny will turn out the arena lights on him!

you just said boxers fight for money in the very same post

and that would be the biggest money fight

and pacs team is incompetent .
It took six years before the fight get signed. There are so many possibilities that could have happen if they pulled out the fight and one of them is getting cancelled. You will never know what kind of tricks will Floyd's camp do just to avoid this fight (from drug testing, ppv share, leave Bob Arum, sign tmt promotion etc). Of course this are just speculations and probably will not happen but still cancelling a fight will not look good in Pacquiao's image. Like I said a lose-lose situation in both option.

The best option for Pacquiao's camp that time is to continue the fight while expecting a toradol shot. The thing is, he was denied using it by NSAC. The same NSAC who save Floyd in his IV scandal instead of punishing him for breaking the rules.

I'm pretty sure you know that money is not the only issue why this fight took six yrs before getting signed.

BTW, I respect your opinion if you it think that way.

it wasn't pac can "FIGHT" on april. it was pac can "SPAR" april.
Pac would have been ready to fight Marquez in May.

But the flip-flopping on the date really made it obvious.

                  * Mayweather wanted April, Arum said nope, we wont be ready until May
                  * Mayweather got his surrender deferred
                  * Suddenly Pacs cut worsened killing the May date
                  * Then Arum let this one slip..... " Im not married to May 5, so Manny could fight on another date in May. If Manny's opponent is Marquez, I'd be much more married to the date "

Pac would have been ready to fight in May if his opponent was Marquez, but not if his opponent was Mayweather.

the outdoor arena would have been cool.
Yea, Arum stated that a stadium was essential, and then he used it as a roadblock..... but the fact remains, we did not require a special stadium for the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight.
