"May 5 is out for us, it can't happen, because we want to explore the idea of getting a [temporary] stadium/arena up on the streets of Las Vegas that can seat 40,000," Arum said. "The end of May is a possibility."
Arum said he's intent to explore the idea of the larger outdoor venue because "having the fight in a 40,000-seat arena rather than a 16,000-seat arena seems like a no-brainer."
Additionally, Arum said Pacquiao is still healing from a deep cut over one of his eyes that he sustained in the Marquez fight.
"I don't know that he's on schedule to start sparring until the beginning of April," Arum said. "That's one of the things we'll discuss. If it is early April, we'll have to have the fight in late May."
Funny, you were so adamant before that the doctors said April and that's why. Now you're saying maybe Arum is lying.
Ya think?
Let's see: a few days before Mayweather's court decision he says he wants Pacquiao-Marquez on that date. Then when Mayweather is available he says they have to build a stadium. And in case you don't believe that, well Manny's cut needs more time to heal, hoping you forgot it would be ready for May 5 only a few days before. So like I said, the poster remembers right.
Who cares he still loss to Floyd and Pac fans are still salty about it. Pac couldn't catch a 38 year old, past his prime version of Floyd. Pac fought a Floyd that was more hittable given the Cotto and Maidana fights and couldn't even land 20% of his punches. Even Maidana, who most consider a B class fighter did better then Pac, but just like all the typical haters excuses were made.
So does this mean, a one armed Pac who fought a roided up Floyd was able to press floyd to run and hug for 12 rounds and made Floyd have his least punch output of his whole career that he basically fought ***** against a one armed man did happen.
Legendary!
If it was 2 healthy arms that night. That would have been a scary thought.[/QUOTE]
One armed? LMAO! Dude was throwing hard right hands and combinations after he "injured" it again. You pac fans are so blind its sad.

Don't take it too literally. It just means he only had one healthy arm that night. In other words he was half the man Pac could have been if he was 100%. Healthy. He did use his right but the pop or the zing in his right punches weren't there coz of the injury. That's what I meant.
With a healthy right arm, those right hooks of Pac could have closed the show. Pac's right hooks are vicious if it was healthy. Lucky Floyd.

Legendary.
At the end of the day pac decided to step in the ring injured and then blame it for losing. I think that was a real cowardly move. Not very legendary behavior if you ask me.
