Spot on.You got that right.Typically patient confidentiality is what prevents medical documents from reaching the public. (ie, HIPPA.)
So many conspiracy theorists here.
Shoulder injuries, especially accumulative, are the most common injuries in boxing along with hands and wrists.
Shoulder injuries are much more common among fighters who hit hard, mainly because the level of impact takes a toll on the anterior structures of the body, which is what tends to absorb the impact. So, taking into account how hard Pacquiao hits to begin with, imagine that velocity impacting the shoulder.Comment

Yep. Even floyd himself says he hits hard!!Typically patient confidentiality is what prevents medical documents from reaching the public. (ie, HIPPA.)

****** people like you make have helped make Special Education a thriving career field. If Pacquaio said he was kidnapped by aliens, ****** ass people like you would be calling for an invasion of Mars.Did Pacquiao? I remember alot of days off. And just because your bum ass couldn't lift your arm doesn't mean anyone else couldn't, and yet again it goes back to idiots thinking every injury is comparable.
"Man I got shot in the head and died straight away, no way that guy actually got shot in the head!"
Bryant was also fine moving his arm before surgery and carried the injury for years and years as it got worse and worse. Within 5 months Kobe said how his shoulder was fine besides a little pain, he said he had full mobility and good strength, he was kept benched by the experts for safety reasons.
It's about a week out from 5 months for Pacquiao. His doctor predicted about six months before full recovery and then another couple to build the strength back up.Last edited by big_james10; 09-28-2015, 06:26 PM.Comment

You just obliterated the Pac haters with that post. Cheers! Also, people need to get off the "if Manny had an injury then why did he check 'no' before the fight in the medical questionnaire?" Seriously?
I had already a severe tear in my left shoulder that been that condition for two years, four months & four days when I went to go for my motorcycle license completing a three day course and the instructors asked us if we had any health issues that needed to be addressed to let them know and of course I was not going to admit due to the fear of them having a legal responsibility to not let me participate in the program. And obviously having to have my arm extended and my bad arm having to use the clutch absolutely affected me, but I really wanted to get a motorcycle license (which I did by passing the written and road tests).
So if I was going to be involved in a mega fight that I had wanted for six years and was going to make more money than I ever had (by a significant margin) before in my career, you're damn right I'm checking "no". I do not blame him for doing that whatsoever.
P.S. I didn't get that shoulder operated on until 8 months and 27 days later from the start of the motorcycle course (making it a total of 3 years, 2 months and 1 week before I was operated on). So if anyone ever has to go in for a labrum repair in their shoulder shoot me a message and I'll be glad to answer questions, etc.Comment

So sick of Pacquaio
And his shoulder. He was unable to impose his will on Floyd, same as every single boxer that has faced him.
There's no "proof" anyway that he had a genuine injury.Comment

True. Pac was in a point of no return no exchange policy. He had to fight. A lot of money was thrown from that mega event. Their was no turning back.Don't be a fool. If he disclosed his injury he would not be deemed able to compete and could have potentially never been able to fight Floyd ever again. You add in hundreds of millions on top of it then it's easy to understand why he would rather go in wounded than to confess his ailments and miss out on an opportunity of a lifetimeComment
