Are you suggesting that because Margarito and GGG are the same height the fight with GGG is reasonable? LOL

The fight with Margarito was at 150lbs, which Pac didn't even come close to making. Margarito had only 1 prior fight at 154, and was otherwise a career welterweight (some fights at <147 when he was 15-16 years old).

That's nothing compared to fighting a natural middleweight like GGG.

oh there is no doubt thats what he is trying to suggest. it dont matter that at the time margarito was thinner then my anorexic niece. the fact is those who want to see ggg vs floyd or ggg vs manny are ridiculous. the same ones are fighting against ggg ward. get over it guys ggg is just to big i dont want to hear about none his pre fight weights this and that people call him a small middleweight but the reality is hes a true full blown middleweight. just because he dont fluctuate between fights dont make him a small middleweight. u dont have to weigh 178 on fight night to be a true middleweight. people talk about ggg like hes a junior middleweight fighting at middleweight.

Also lets completely ignore that if mayweather or manny fought ggg at 154 152 whatever even if they had the luckiest and best fight of their lives they would get literally no credit at all.

If he cannot make the weight that Pac makes with ease, than he does not destroy him at any weight, right ******? Does Dirrell destroy Floyd at any weight? Does Klitschko destroy Ward at any weight? That's what you're saying, and its just moronic. Lucky you came with an alt, like the TS a$$wipe

What part don't you get that there's obvious middleground and beating over some bush that people aren't wanting a GGG vs Pac bout at whatever, at 154?

What part don't you understand that K2 ignored Lara or Andrade's call to fight GGG? Do you know what weights they campaigned at when they called him out?

What picture do we have to paint? Or do the name Pac and GGG become irrelevant we only bring up Floyd?
This post deserves a word that is stronger than "reaching", but I could not think of any.

Fact is Pacquiao has never demonstrated that he could fight at 154lbs, Floyd has.

Other facts - Pacquiao immediately vacated his LMW belt because he had no business in that division. Floyd did not do that and had more than 1 fight in this division, and even fought a unification.

Pacquiao is 5'6 and would be giving up reach to GGG. Floyd would have a height deficit that is 2 inches smaller and would actually have the reach advantage on GGG.

The Pac/GGG fight is not even half as reasonable as a Floyd/GGG fight would be. Now I'd be the first to say that those posters who claimed Floyd was "ducking" GGG were being unfair. Nonetheless it was a fight that boxing insiders proposed and discussed prior to the Berto fight because of the merits I've mentioned above and because Floyd has demonstrated that he could take a fight like that. No one is discussing or expecting that of Pacquiao right now, nor should anyone.

Again, this doesn't mean that Floyd/GGG was a fight that should have been made. Just that comparing that to Pac/GGG is not at all warranted.

Completely unreasonable the size difference would be drastic.

He has never officially weighed more than 147lbs. He had one fight at 150, against a fighter that isn't half as good as GGG, and Pac still came in under the WW limit for that bout.

If Pacquiao had already taken fights at 154lbs in the past, if he were a current two belt holder in that division, or if he was giving up less height and reach to GGG... then this would be more of a discussion.

But as it stands GGG would send Pacquiao into a very deep sleep.
The opportunity or last chance of a lifetime is there. If Pac AT LEAST opens his mouth to want a catch with GGG, then that's at least a start. The moment that happens, it becomes the biggest fight for that year, hands down. If Pacquiao decides at 160, I will look at Pacquiao at a whole different level of respect. But that wouldn't happen. I would give the benefit to Pac for wanting a rehydration clause towards GGG.

GGG is at the spotlight at his division. He doesn't need to mention Pac. HOWEVER, in situations like this, is where catchweight phenomenon MIGHT be considered. OR, just fight at a pure 154 straight.

IF, IF, the fight happened, and let's say GGG won... then another huge ridiculous comeback by Floyd to return just to beat GGG at 154 or ?? The possibility is there. And Floyd winning that fight...man...dude is from another planet for making money and setting epic entertainment standards.

Wait...I think he already did that.. =P
