Merchant basically said he's either a cheat or he's not, the only 2 options there are, and knowing how Merchant has always felt about Mayweather and his style of fighting there's no surprise which one he leans toward.
Pretty much. I've been watching old HBO fights and as much as I love Larry, he's just overboard with his hate at times. He could barely enjoy Mayweather-Corley even though those first six rounds were FOTY worthy. Just kept finding ways to put Corley down. He even said Mayweather wasn't hurt when Shane rocked him in the second. I was like wtf
Overtraining is a very legit reason for possible dehydration, especially when you're 38 years old, remember Floyd carries a water bottle with him everywhere he goes and even during his press conferences, he sometimes has to stop 2-3 times during a 10 minute speech to drink water, and that's even before fights, sometimes his voice gets hoarse also because of it, this is just the nature of his body.
I remember once on an HBO broadcast a fighter didn't gain weight after the weigh in and they asked George Foreman why would that happen, he said it used to happen to him cuz of anxiety before fights, u get to anxious and u make a lot of trips to the bathroom and u lose fluids, this used to happen to me personally before exams but of course I'm not a 38 year old who's been training his ass off for like 10 weeks.
Plus who published the article and when he published it is what makes me doubtful about the truth of it, this is an HBO employee publishing an article to mess up the PPV numbers of their rival network only 2 days before the 2nd PPV event they had this year, why should I assume that he's telling the truth, especially when the NSAC and USADA themselves said that no wrongdoing has happened?
So you are saying Floyd stays well hydrated and didn't need an IV?
Watch that and tell me exactly where they said that the only reason is the blood testing! U putting word in people's mouths to fit ur biased agenda reminds of this HBO employee that published the article 2 days before a major PPV event of their rival network.
They CLEARLY said it's from overworking, the funny thing is that Floyd also looks thin and drinking water during the interview, which was 6 weeks after the fight. Just goes to show u that his body loses fluids faster than average, so it's possible that overtraining caused him to be dehydrated.
He got tested before and after the thing, ur arguments are totally invalid.
Or that he is already losing mass after stopping juicing.
Is the body a PC with notification system that tells u " u r dehydrated because of overtraining"? so him using could instead of was is totally understandable.
Stirvirne was hospitalised for two days coz of dehydration after the wilder fight and the reason cited was overtraining in the medical report, unless you actually believe that a heavyweight got dehydrated because of cutting weight, which would be just plain ridiculous.
Anyway, point is, cuttijg weigh ain't the only reason a sportsman can get dehydration, the re is actually a long list of reasons. Is it not feasible that Floyd could have overtrained? Wasn't everyone making fun of him in the build up for overhauling his whole training regiment for pacquiao, chopping wood and doing under water training and ish, **** he never done before or ain't done since his early pro days? Yes, there is no way you could have missed all those articles about that in the buildup, in fact, most of those articles went on bwt how changing regimen at that age could backfire on Floyd, but when it appears to have done exactly that, people jump to the worst case scenario and forget what they said.
Funny how Floyd didn't mention overtraining.
And a heavyweight, yea, they don't need to cut. Floyd, he weighs at least 160 on fight night.
He just doesn't want people to call for him to fight MW or JR.MW, even tough he holds a Jr.MW belt.

Except Floyd himself didn't use that as an excuse.
Larry Merchant is the reason why fans only look for drama and don't understand **** about the sport of boxing just like himself while being the most uprofessional, rude, senile prick of a commentator the sport has ever seen.
Really, it's can't be that fans think Floyd holding, running, love taping azz just looks lame. Lol! The reasons fans don't like that style because it's boring and cowardly.
Fans don't mind stick and move. But tap a move times, and then run. Lol! Well that speaks for itself.
Go change your diapers Larry and leave boxing alone. I never wished death upon anyone but damn, this motherfücker lived way longer than he should've.
Brother Ahmed!
As usual right on point!
He hates Floyd, Floyd pissed him off, he kissed Floyd off! He is old, but he is entitled to his opinion and his adult pampers!
This man has done more damage to boxing than anybody I know of, I mean this mofo tried to change the sport of boxing from being the sweet science into being 2 fighters with no skills slugging it out and seeing who's gonna get a concussion first. Boxing is a sport just like any sports and these fighters are also human beings, a fighter not wanting to get brain damaged is not a bad fighter, unfortunatley that's not what Merchant tried to teach millions of people who watched HBO over the years.
if this guy really understood boxing, he would understand what smart boxers do and try to explain it to casuals so that they can appreciate it too instead of bashing all fighters that fight in a smart fashion.
Little b1tch, fück u and Merchant.
LOL! Look up the word "hyperbole" man. He wasn't saying that boxing is dumb, he was saying the holding, excessive clinching, and the running style is boring, and in fact used to be punished by judges.
If Floyd was deducted points every time he excessively held, clinched, held his opponents arms, he'd have lost multiple fights.
And Merchant isn't to be hated because he think boxing is about hitting, moving, and good defense.
That's different than holding all night, or taping your opponent a few times and then quite literally running all night.
See, boxing smilie doesn't show holding, clinching, holding your opponents arms, and running all night.
But occasional clinching happens, but when you entire strategy to waist the clock using moves more akin to MMA, then fans will dislike it.
I'm pretty sure Floyd didn't hire Ariza, just so Ariza could show him how to chop wood! Floyd wanted what Manny was getting, and he got it, and when the playing field is equal, Floyd would beat Manny 9 out of 10 times! Manny sued Floyd for slander, but he (and Arum) have not pushed for a no-contest...why? They don't want to open that can of worms!

Then why did nsac say usada dropped ball 3 times .this time included. ?
Why did nsac say usada had not authority to grant TUE ??
Why did nsac say allow a TUE 19,days after a fight from a company the fighter hired?
