Even Freddie thinks Floyd won, whatever kinda weak fight it was.
I really think a big problem was Kenny bayless, he broke them too quick, didn't warn Floyd about holding. I preferred the way Tony Weeks let maidana use his mauling skills, and caused Floyd to dig deep. That fight could have gone either way, but the cash cow argument makes sense. Castillo 1, had him on compubox, Castillo was effective with his aggression.
I firmly believe in sometimes letting guys fight to get off the ropes. Don't break them so quickly, and don't create a ref regulated atmosphere that only favors mobile guys. But I believe that this is hard to do. I was laughing when maidana was strong enough to break free from Floyd and pounded him to the body & the nuts. He looked to weeks for a life preserver, but it didn't come. You shouldn't have so much juice you can determine who the ref can be. Criminals can't pick the kind judge when the get busted, judges assigned round robin.
My homeboy has a tat on his hand, it is 13 & 1/2. I finally asked him what it meant and he said,, simple fool, their Court of law, so their 12 member jury, their judge, and me with only half a chance at best.
