The minute anybody says "running" about anything related to a boxing match is definitley someone who never fought before, slapping? this is the first time I heard that, slapping is when u hit someone with the inner part of the glove.

Floyd started to use clinching more when he was already 37 years old fighting a younger 15+ lbs heavier guy in Maidana, before that nobody, including u haters and Merchant himself, ever complained about him clinching excessively, he only did that in 1 fight against a guy who did all the dirty tactics in the book and actually, tackled, tried to knee, and bit him in a boxing match.

Against Pacquiao Floyd clinched him less than 20 times, that's actually far less than average, go watch Ali clinch Frazier more than 30 times in the first 3 rounds of their first fight and then come and complain about clinching.
