When you catch an L to the guy who've been considered 2nd to for most of your career at 147 & P4P I think its a tough call to surpass that guy career-wise. I suppose there is some run Manny could go on that could get him there but it'd need to be some pretty epic run. KO or beat Thurman, Brook, Alvarez, GGG & Ward or something like that lol idk.

It would depend on who is making the call on which one of them is better. Mayweather fans will always rated Mayweather above Pacquiao and Pacquiao fans will go with Pacquiao. I think most neutral fans will stick with Mayweather because he won every pro fight he ever had and he beat so many champions and ex champions.

I respect Pacquiao a lot and he had a great run of 2-3 years, but overall i can't find any possible way he is above Floyd. And a one sided victory in their fight just put an exclamation point on it. And that's not putting Pacquiao down, he is/was great. Both are excellent elite fighters though but for me Floyd is a notch above him.

They will both be remembered as ATG's, their names will forever be linked together but when the fanboyism dies down and time moves on and all they are is fighters of yesteryear in the history books, i think Floyd will be remembered as the very best from this era and will always have a W over Pacquiao when it's all done and dusted. We can argue about that fight and the rivalry all day but that's how i feel the general feeling will be as time moves on.

I have Manny ranked above Floyd all-time. For you to automatically assume that Floyd is ranked above Manny, is Fanboyish, in my opinion. Based on what is he above Manny, all-time? He's not. Manny's resume STOMPS Floyd's. Manny has NEVER ducked a challenge. Manny will fight anyone, anytime, anywhere. He will fight in another country, venue, etc. He doesn't care what gloves you are wearing, he doesn't fight to survive in the ring. He isn't a dirty fighter, no pun intended. Skill for skill, Manny matches Floyd as well. You all just don't want to admit what you saw on May 2nd, 2015. Floyd has always been an overrated talent. with no killer instinct. I was a huge fan until he became is own boss. It made him richer BUT it turned him into a WWE character. Manny is an ATG in my eyes. His run at Welterweight was the icing on the cake. When he retires, he will have nothing else to prove. Floyd on the other hand, is really just a HOF'mer with an inflated resume. There are no dangerous opponent's on his record when he fought them. Whether you like it or not, this will be considered when ranking him all-time. He did this to himself. He was a lot of mouth but not a lot of bark. The Canelo fight could've done a lot for his claim BUT he drained the kid!!!!! What a coward. Smh. And on top of all of this, the IV scandal is LEGIT and is just getting started. He could've been juicing for years. We don't know.
