I pride myself on being open to crazy opinions if they have some logic behind them...and I must say hearing a minority of people talk about wilder's improvement in this fight and other such bon mots really puzzles me. If I were a Wilder fan I would be very let down... Wilder better call Charlie Z up for a rematch.

I agree and I will say it I see nothing great about him. I now even believe that his power is overrated.

Wilder does not react well to getting hit. He does one of two things, he gets really wild, or he freezes a bit.

Yeah, if he was fighting a guy who sets their punches up and an sustain an attack he would have been in trouble...Povatkin for example.

The other problem Wilder has is that he telegraphs when he is ready to attack. His hands being low this means that Vlad basically sticks a jab in his face all night.

Everything doesn't have to be negative. I don't think any Wilder fan thinks he's the next Larry Holmes. We just see a raw giant with a big punch and an exciting style. It excites us. We're on this roller coaster until its conclusion. Nothing wrong with that.
