great fight, wilder should trust his athleticism a bit more, when he utilized it in this fight he did real good, he's too open for a left hand though, i'm bombsquad all day but he is way too open for jabs and straight rights

I somewhat agree but I think 'ready to go' is a stretch...if you mean he was getting cut off and looking in position to take a huge bomb had that been another fighter yeah i can get with thatI mean the Frenchman was incredible. he was game and showed courage in spades....but when a guy is throwing maybe 15 punches a round... And you can get away from him fairly easily...at the very least Wilder should not have looked the worse for wear.
This was a really risky fight and there were times when Wilder looked ready to go IF the guy across from him could throw decent punches with speed and in bunches.Comment

well to be fair tho they were saying he has the potential they even said afterward he would have to be better to make a run at povetkin so i mean i guess its just how u put things into perspectiveComment

i mean having one mouse under ur eye is not that big of a deal u can get those from a simple jab landing wrong to me thats not a big deal and it seems people are focusing on that. it is a heavyweight fight guysI mean the Frenchman was incredible. he was game and showed courage in spades....but when a guy is throwing maybe 15 punches a round... And you can get away from him fairly easily...at the very least Wilder should not have looked the worse for wear.

Wlad held his way to all his victories, Wilder would look the exact same way if he held like Klinschko. But Wilder is a warrior and wants to give us a big drama show.
Much more refreshing than watching this:

How so? This guy never counterpunched, and especially towards the end when he stopped cutting the ring off, was right in front of Wilder. So Wilder knew that at any time he decided he could be offensive. yet it took a beating, a couple of close calls and even a bit of desperation for Wilder to throw his shots and get the guy out of there.
They once asked Liberace the pianist what his appeal was and he said, full of cheek, "I play beethoven and take the boring notes out."
Well the Frenchman fought the first few rounds like if you took Joe Frazier and took all the punches out!Comment

Come on Cincy....that was a welt and body language suggested Wilder was not a happy camper who just took a good shot. he did not react very well to getting hit and this guy should not have been able to tune him up.Comment
