Floyd would have to alter his spending habits in a big way if he plans on staying retired for good.

People get too caught up in his purse amounts. When it's reported that Floyd made X amount, that's the gross income before the IRS takes their 39.6% and in addition to haymons 15%. That right there reduces a 32 million dollar purse to around 14mil. From the reported 300mil he made from the pacquiao bout, he pocketed around half that. Yes it's still a tremendous amount of money but Floyd also blows a tremendous amount of money. Hopefully he learned not to make the mistakes from people like Tyson and Holyfield.

He said his unbeaten record isn't that important as long as hes healthy? So is he worried fighting GGG he wont be healthy? BH is ok and he fought the equivalent of GGG in Kovalev.

Here comes NSB's accountant who's negotiated every Mayweather contract. He even counts the money after each fight.

At 154 Lara would beat Floyd....everybody knows that. Floyd is an all time great and doesn't have to prove anything though. Hopefully he stays retired.

Any chance on telling me how you know Floyd gives 15% to Haymon yet?

Yeah right, you're hoping to God that that happens.

Contracts have nothing to do with the united state tax code.

Floyd falls into the highest tax bracket which requires him to pay 39.6% of his income. This is a fact. It goes for anyone making over $406,000/yr.

It has also been reported that haymons charges a 15% flat fee of his fighters purses. Many managers/promoters charge more and in some cases DOUBLE what haymon charges. Do u think haymon works for free or for peanuts?

Khan beat Algieri easy, but you're doing what some people do when Khan doesn't put on a 12 round shut out (like he did with Alexander). Some people just fixate on any small success that Khan's opponent has and blow it completely out of proportion to try to downplay the reality of Khan's clear superiority in the fight. Some people did the same thing with the Maidana fight when Khan really beat Maidana easy.

Khan beat A|gieri much easier than Floyd beat Berto.. Just goes to drive home the point further that Floyd may well have been scared into retirement by Khan permanently.. Temporarily for sure, but it could be a permanent mental scar that Khan left on Floyd's psyche and it may cause him to stay in hiding for life.
