Heavyweight boxing is depressing. Its european champion has shat himself and bailed rather than fight a traveller. And its yank champion will only fight walking corpses.

Tyson should be happy - now he gets his ass kicked a couple of weeks later - Wlad grills the guy....

This could just be the start. I've always thought Wlad would try to avoid fighting Fury if he could, so I was surprised when he signed for it in the first place.

LOL not fair from fact. The HW division continues to be one of the least interesting of the historically "exciting" divisions in boxing these days. I think Fury can help change that if he can bring a good performance (win or lose) vs Klitschko, I think Wilder has the potential to be in some fun Foreman-Lyle type fights if he ever steps up & I think Joshua could be very interesting to watch progress up the ladder so hopefully things will be getting compelling soon.

Why would wlad be afraid of an inbred, half ******ed, gypsy? People are acting like fury is drago when his best win is chisora.

You're surprised the HW champ for the last 10 years signed for the fight? Are these comments for real? Fighters get injured during training, it happens especially when you are older like Wlad is. Maybe Fury should keep is focus on the fight instead of playing games, because the fight will happen and Fury will be the one that wishes that Wlad didn't sign up for the fight in the first place.

He did, people here saying how the fight is not cancelled but it is, their fight on the 24th of October is cancelled. Wlad was backed out of the fight, he now needs to set up a new fight on a different date!

Exactly. It's just comical when people try to say Vladimir would be ducking anybody, at all, when he is leagues above anything else on the planet. Povetkin posed a threat. Nobody else does. Nobody.

klitschko's are notorious duckers and cowards and have to have everything their way or they won't fight. remember when vitali was scared to fight rahman? remember when klitschko ducked chisora? wlad always has to have a ref in his back pocket to let him clinch nonstop. maybe he couldn't find one in time?
