here's cotto at 140, 1.5 years before he left 140 lbs, against a guy with very little power.

not drained, just chinny. he easily had 10 lbs on corley.

naturally larger. cotto was a 140 lber at canelo's age.

pretty basic, lol. you don't need to reinvent the wheel to find advantages for canelo.
Better combination puncher, better right hand. Better uppercut. Better defense. Cotto doesn't move his head, he uses his gloves to block punches.

were you taching boxing when cotto fought zab judah?

remember when judah hurt him early, and cotto kept throwing low blows?

        better chin than canelo.

remember when pacquiao backed him up for 7 round after hurting him in the 5th?

        better chin than canelo.

cotto lost a wide decision austin f#cking trout. his win over martinez was against a guy who retired immediately, and couldn't even run or spar in training. daniel geale [knocked out a year earlier, and drained of weight,] doe!

That was a great fight. I always think about that fight when people mention cottos chin. He gets hurt in almost all his fights I'm not sure how he'll react to a nasty shot from Canelo.

the commentators kinda biffed it early in the fight. i don't think they took corley seriously until cotto was rocking around the ring. corley landed good shots prior to hurting cotto.

in fairness, that crowd was absolutely insane, and it would have been easy to get caught up in all of that.

if cotto isn't a level beyond canelo with his timing, he's goign to evntually get caught nad either back up, or get knocked out. he loses the fight if he can't outclass canelo. i don't think he can outclass canelo.

it will be the best win of his career if he does.

Canelo has faster hands, hits harder, is bigger, and has better head movement than Cotto. Cotto has better footwork, better stamina, and is overall a better boxer than Canelo.

It's an intriguing match up, but I think Canelo's power will find Cotto's chin eventually.

So Floyd also has a bad chin huh?

                  damage control

floyd's chin isn't spectacular, but it's not afwul. cotto is chinny. he spent much of the rest of the round hurt after corley hit him. he's hurt quite often for a world class fighter.

again, most of you didn't wtach boxing in '05. most of you were probably in grade school

it was also floyd's first fight at 140. cotto at 140 probbly had 10-15 lbs on chop chop corley. pretty sure they have fight night weights from that fight.

cotto's little fanboys are making a semi resurgence after it came out that martinez was a complete cripple by his own admission, and they went into hiding

another knockout loss will probably end cotto's career.
