    Klitschko deserves #1 P4P without a question.

what -kevin- was saying was that since when did we start puttin fools up on the p4p 10 based upon the "eye test" when its always been on quality and resume,,,

but ever since ggg and koavalve came along they quickly crept up to that top 10 spot without doin ****,well except for kovalve cause he got a couple decent wins but he was on it b4 he beat grampa bhop and went life and death with pascal

Instead he cut the feat short, and Pacquiao has the longest time on the P4P list in boxing history with 11.8 years. I think Floyd could have had that record for a long time. Instead now he has like 9-10 years from 98-08 and another 6 years more year from 09-15.
You're right. Floyd would have been in the P4P for nearly 17 years. That's crazy as fuck.

the eye test was done with floyd.

              its done all the time.

the eye test was done with GGG and kovalev.

the results of the test is that they KNOCK MOTHERFCKERS OUT.

P4P was'nt about quality and resumes. Its existence was about being able to look at a guys style and see how he would match up to someone outside of their weight class. Mainly as a way of comparing smaller guys to heavyweights, who have long been considered the kingpins of the sport.
In other words, a p4p list is all about the eye test, has/had been forever. The idea that a p4p list is about quality and resume is a modern invention, not the other way around.

Exactly! Good post. This is why I don't really rate a guy like Klitschko in p4p discussions. If all things were even, and he didn't have a size advantage he would have an extremely hard time beating true p4p fighters.

A smaller Wlad would be like Postol, but with twice as much power. I'd venture he'd do more than okay.
