I heard boxing coaches say the right hook is not a proper punch ???? I feel like I'm about the rip my shoulder when throwing a right hook to the head...???
My old trainer said there was no such thing as a right hook ..He said it was either a right hand or it wasn't ..What are you doing wrong maybe it's your technique

Straight right hand, overhand right, sweeping right, right cross, right hook, looping right, ect...I think each one deserves it's own definition but some may just think it's all a matter of semantics.

A Lefty throws Right hooks all the time if it feels like your going to rip your shoulder off you have a lousy coach he's not teaching you proper technique
