If Cotto looks sensational, he will stay retired.
So Floyd ducks fighters by fighting them? I haven't heard that before...yes I have, Canelo was too young and Cotto was too old...lol

I like that scene from KF Hustle though!

Yep. It's funny how he said he fought Cotto past his prime but he's old several years older now and you want that fight. Lol

It is a great scene huh? Speed wins over all.

I didn't say anything about ducking with Floyd, just pointed out that he picks the right times to fight guys to give him the best odds. He was very smart with that, but that is the reason people other than myself critique him. It's a part of the game and it is what it is. I preferred Pretty Boy Floyd over Money. He was coming up right and fighting guys that were prime.

Please point out where I stated Cotto was past his prime when he fought him. He fought him at the right time for Floyd to give him the greatest odds of victory. Is that hard to understand?

I was responding to LostOne's comment. But to your point, I think Pretty Boy beats any version of Pac at 130. He had a good chin, was more hungry and his hands were less fragile.

A very interesting match, and the easiest route to 50-0 and a middleweight title. I just don't see a new impressive Cotto, **** I don't even see a full sized middleweight. Cotto has always been an all around solid, elite boxer and I see him being as successful as he was the first time, but it's not good enough.

It makes for an enjoyable fight, a solid ppv, and an excellent way for Mayweather to cement his legacy.

Hell yeah.....you want to tell everybody you are the best fighter ever then your resume gets extra scrutiny. I just don't look at who you fought, I look at when you fought them and the circumstances behind those fights and when you dissect Floyd's resume it is weak. He barely beat an over the hill addict. 1 round separates a Win with a Draw. DLH is 6 yrs younger and not cracked out he wins that fight easy. Plus his retirement when he had Williams, Margarito and Cotto out there is highly su****ious especially when you come back and fight a guy 2 divisions lower then where you are fighting at.

I hope that Mayweather is done fighting. Nobody under 160 can give him the slightest hint of competition. Cotto was lucky in the first fight. Because Mayweather hadn't yet decided to avoid "punishment." A rematch would resemble every other Floyd match, and Cotto would lose every round.
