Well I for one am a fan of GGG. He's a throwback fighter. Enjoys fighting... has not ducked anyone that I know of... and always provides an exciting show. People give him hell for not seeking out Ward, but... isn't Ward at a heavier division? I know moving up is all the rage, but GGG still has more worlds to conquer. I'm not sure he could beat Ward, but I wouldn't mind seeing it (him beating Ward, that is). Boxing needs fighters like GGG right now. Floyd may be an ATG and all that, and his skill can't be denied... but frankly I think much of the boxing world was pretty fed up with the whole Floyd package by now. Time for some fresh blood. Nothing but best wishes for GGG moving forward.

        there is a difference.

name me a ppv floyd participated in that was captivating back and forth action that boxing fans can be proud of instead of the usual floyd ppv where he runs and clinches excessively and pot shots the guy not doing any damage?

look at his last fight vs maidana,

FLOYD LITERALLY RAN THE ENTIRE 12TH ROUND!!!!

Is that how you end a movie? is that how you end a great fight? is that how a great athlete signs off?

        LITERAL RUNNING?

then you have figurative running from welterweight with his berto selection as opposed to 10 other more worthy guys and his 2nd fake retirement from another loaded welterweight division.
Maidana, Cotto, Ortiz, Mosley in parts, Hatton in parts.

I think that you are missing the point.....

When you go to the ice-cream store, you pick whatever flavor you want.

If you select a flavor you do not like, there is no point in crying about it.

If you bought a Floyd fight, and weren't happy, then dont buy another.

        1) you did not have to purchase any of Mayweathers PPV's
        2) Mayweather's PPV didn't prevent your prefered fights from happening, so Mayweather cost you nothing, and you lost nothing

If a movie comes out, and you dont like the subject, then dont watch it.

It is pointless to contact the producer/director, and ask them to change the storyline for you

Another thought..... Mayweather did 7mil PPV buys in TWO fights.

He did 9.5mil PPV buys in THREE fights.

You preferring a cheeseburger to a steak does not worry those people.

Beating Quillen would be making a statement if that fight could happen. Plus not fighting Ward but willing to fight Chavez and Froch at 168 tells me he only wants fights he knows he will definitely win. Not sure he beats Froch so he was willing to take a risk there so have to give points for that.

You better check your calender again, there's no UFC on that night. There's a meh PBC card on during the day though. Andre Dirrell vs Blake Caparello and Lamont Peterson vs Felix Diaz (might be good).

So, I have been stripped then ?

              Why ?

Not for inactivity, thats for sure

I must have been stripped for my underwhelming opponent selection

only star action fighters should be in ppv.

it does a disservice to the overall health of the sport when you put a safety conscious spoiling boxer like floyd as ppv king.
Typical post Floyd-Manny "hardcore" fight fan. Floyd lined up a who's who of his eras best fighters, beat them, and most of the time made it look easy. Yet you **** on him and ****l1ck a guy who in a decade as a pro, his beat win ia Daniel Geale. So in essence you're saying you'd rather watch a guy KO a nobody than see a guy outclass elite competition. Ironically, I'm pretty sure YOU have issues with Floyd's opponent list as well.

He's got power so he only wants to fight guy that will trade with him. That's why he wants nothing to do with Ward.

Of all the fighters he fought, you chose Curtis Stevens. The man who fought at SMW and LHW. And he is undersized for MW? He is short, but no way undersized...
