Comments Thread For: Berto: Mayweather's Legacy Will Always Be Questioned

Former two-time welterweight champion Andre Berto says the legacy of Floyd Mayweather Jr. will always fall under question with the fans - because he usually played it safe even when the opponent was severely overmatched.

Because he played it safe and relied on his defense and quick reflexes to stay away from trouble, only two of his victories since 2006 were inside the distance.

Mayweather announced his retirement following his twelve round decision win over Berto on September 12th in Las Vegas.

Berto wanted to talk shht in the ring. He was like where is floyd ,where did he go. He looked around for him,was gonna drop some dirt. But he found floyd and stayed humble for the most part.

But i caught that on the replay on showtime ..

By Berto's logic, he should pretty much be mad that Floyd didn't KO him lol

lol Berto has to be the most ungrateful mfer.

Mayweather singles him out for a $4m cheque that he never deserved (Berto claims it's more) and all he has done is shit all over Floyd.
