Loooooooool. Still haven't got over that loss either huh?
Life must be so hard being a Manny fanboy.Comment

Yup, that is what makes this crazy and its not like this was the first time this came up. Marquez could have had this fight last year or the year before that.
Marquez begged Manny. Then gets the win and calls it a day. Not right in my books.Comment

What are you talking about? The fight was a great fight.
The KO had some luck in it and a bit of Memo's signature too! I would take that Manny loss over any Floyd fight. Can't compare. One was great to watch. The other would be great if you had trouble sleeping.

Im not saying Pac didn't juice either. Im just pointing out that Marquez definitely did. Everyone, including pac fans, knows he was on something. A fighters punching power is the last thing to go. Its odd that's the first thing that went away in Pacquiao's once he started doing Olympic style testing. But just like Floyd and Marquez it was never proven, just su****ious.Pacquiao jumped 2 weight classes and stopped ODLH. He was on something. It's not possible that the guy is just an incredibly hard worker, because whenever a fighter does something extraordinary we have to blame PEDs. Fetty Wap could see that he was on something with his good eye closed :/Comment

Any moment a fighter can't continue due to referee, corner, or physician is classified as a TKO plain and simple. Yes the RTD is a type of stoppage but still classified as a TKO. Look at Oscars record for example 39 W 6 L (2 KO) D0. It doesn't say 39 W 6 L (1 KO, 1 RTD) D 0. RTD is still a Technical Knockout.Ugh, you missed the edit. Oh well.
In any case:
A TKO is fight action stopped by the referee while the clock was running.
A RTD is a fight stopped by the referee while the clock is stopped in between rounds. There is no physical activity taking place.
Both are technically knock outs and are recorded in the stoppage column.
Directly from a Boxrec editor. Don't know what else you want when an editor for a British site (where RTDs exist, because they certainly aren't in America) says an RTD is a stoppage :/
From 37:17. Doesn't get any clearer.
That's as far as I'm going with this. Pacquiao stopped Marquez. If you want to argue with the rules of boxing, go right ahead. Again, sorry for the tone. This is an argument about nothing anyway.Comment
