God forbid someone say that Pacquiao knocked down Marquez by luck during the same fight, and that it had a bit of Ariza's shake signature. These dudes are comedians.
They really are. "He was young" for the early losses, "blood drained and bad socks" for Morales, "lucky punch & PEDs" for Marquez, "the shoulder & Saline solution" for Floyd.
Im not saying Pac didn't juice either. Im just pointing out that Marquez definitely did. Everyone, including pac fans, knows he was on something. A fighters punching power is the last thing to go. Its odd that's the first thing that went away in Pacquiao's once he started doing Olympic style testing. But just like Floyd and Marquez it was never proven, just su****ious.
Of course Pacquiao fans think he was on something. They have an excuse ready whenever he loses or faces the slightest bit of adversity. There opinion means **** on this forum if you ask me.
Like I said, I'm not gonna slander a legend of the sport because he caught a guy with a perfect punch. Anything can happen in boxing. Marquez looked old. Pacquiao was landing at will, and up until the KO was more or less having his way in the ring (sans the KD in the 3rd). Marquez kept his composure and dropped him with the same punch that he dropped his sparring partner with (through headgear). There is no evidence that points to Marquez juicing, unless complaining and making excuses about why Pacquiao got his lights turned out counts as evidence.
You'd think the people in this forum never saw a memorable KO in their lives. Foreman was way past it and KO'd Michael Moorer at 45 years old. If that happened last week, regular posters here would be up in arms about how Foreman would have to do OST because the KO was suspect, or how he took PEDs that gave him punch resistance or some other ******ed bull ****. You'll have to excuse me for not labeling every underdog who wins a fight as a cheater :/
Any moment a fighter can't continue due to referee, corner, or physician is classified as a TKO plain and simple. Yes the RTD is a type of stoppage but still classified as a TKO. Look at Oscars record for example 39 W 6 L (2 KO) D0. It doesn't say 39 W 6 L (1 KO, 1 RTD) D 0. RTD is still a Technical Knockout.
Glad to see there's another boxing fan on this thread with some damn sense. Was getting a little scared. I had to actually post the Boxrec definition of RTD to get the guy to stop bickering lol

I am glad PAC got up! A coroner may have called for an inquest!
PAC's spinal column almost popped out of his back as he face planted. Marquez also hit him with a left to the body as PAC was in free fall!
Q: do you think communicate caught the body shot and gave Marquez the credit he deserves?
well after pac 4 times, last one by devastating ko, who would blame him?
I think Marquez did manny and his fans a favor, in not Knocking Manny out cold, out cold again!
Do PAC fans want to see that happen again? They need to watch that KO-coma shot to his dome! That spine almost popped out of his back! Just watch it in slow mo, they love slow motion!!

The worst losers ever...
Bro you are wrong! Completely wrong!
My cousin Mike has a Filipina wife, she and her family feel that manny lost because he became a born again Christian, abondined the catholic faith, and his wife had plastic surgery!
I personally heard them say this in Vallejo California after Marquez knocked him out, I wasn't there, but heard they said it again after mayweather beat PAC!
I am headed to makati by the end of the year and will capture and post what people in metro Manila say!
Gonna stay in San Lorenzo village, and ask people who are less superstitious what they think!
Let's not act like he's on the verge of getting KO'd again or something. He's had other fights since then and hasn't been KO'd again so far.
He gave him a rematch, that's what he gave him. No matter what you said, Pacquiao could have turned it down and he didn't.
True, but that fight left a sour taste in a lot of mouths. Mouths that belong to Manny Pacquiao (who knows he lost)..... Freddie Roach (who also knows Pac lost that fight)..... and a section of Mannys fanbase.
Ronnie Nathanielz watcehd that fight with Ben Delgado and a licensed referee..... and they ALL said that Marquez won.
Yup, that is what makes this crazy and its not like this was the first time this came up. Marquez could have had this fight last year or the year before that.
Marquez begged Manny. Then gets the win and calls it a day. Not right in my books.
Every unbiased boxing fan will admit that Marquez got shafted in the earlier fights, especially the third.
The third fight proved that no matter what happens, Marquez will never win a decision against Pacquiao..... NEVER !
At least attempt to understand what Marquez put into that trilogy, compared to the rewards that he received.
Bob Arum simply cannot be trusted.
You would have to be extremely ****** to willingly place your head on the chopping block again, after seeing what happened in the 3rd fight.
Marquez had to take that decision out of the judges hands, and he did.
