    Should Retire

Roach is the only person from Pac's camp and fan club that realizes how badly Pacquiao was outclassed by Mayweather. Pacman looked bad and Roach sees the same effort in the next fight (which they can't claim another injury as the cause); he should ask Pac to retire.

Even in the press conference (for those who paid attention) Roach was indicating that it was a bad night for Pacquiao and they couldn't execute the game plan; Then Arum interrupted him and started the whole shoulder injury excuse segment.

Pacquiao should retire. He didn't look good In his last fight and Roach was just as Incompetent. They should both retire actually. Maybe once Canelo ends Cotto's career, Roach will see the writing on the wall. Pulling for Cotto but Canelo Is taking that fight.

People should also remember Roach has been known to motivate his boxers in an unusual way.

I remember during his last training camp, Roach was on record using off the court stuff to motivate and/or bring Pacquiao's old killer instinct.

I could see this as an attempt to bring out that last ounce of greatness from Pacquiao to end his career on a high note.

If you didn't notice that Manny was barely throwing his right hook then YDKSAB.

But thanks for proving the point. There was no need to editoralize about the torn rotators cuff but Foid nut huggers have to protect Froid at all times.

The author felt the need to attempt to, all be it poorly, argue that Manny's shoulder injury was fake.

Oh, please. It's damn near impossible for any fighter to look good (or sharp) against Floyd. He's a technician. It makes him look 'boring' in the process, but it's just defensive wizardry.
Pac shut out Algieri, Rios, and looked solid against Marquez until end of round 6. The next fight should be against Khan. It's a great barometer for him, and then close out his career with a Matthyse fight.
Or just retire now bc he's a living legend.
But he's not looking shot by any means.

To be fair, a number of pacfans have stated that Manny could have performed a little better.

All I am going to say is.....
                    * a lot of people predicted that exact same outcome 5 years ago
                    * EVERYBODY says, that it is different when you get in there with Mayweather..... been hearing fighters say that for years

Put it this way, Pacs gameplan went out the window early in that fight, and either..... adjustments were not possible, or adjustments were not tried.

Well, one of those is scenarios was Freddies responsibility, and the other scenario depends on Mayweather.

Not sure if Manny could have done much more in that fight, not without going out on his shield anyway.

he should fight on if he has the cojones to fight brook, thurman, khan or porter.

same goes for floyd but thanfully hes retired now!
                      Actually I agree.....

Lately folks have been complaining about Mayweathers opposition, mostly because of the Berto selection..... but Mayweather has been fighting much better oppostion than Pac for quite awhile now.

It would be good to see Pac in with one of those guys.

And I dont suggest fights because I want to see someone lose - other than Margarito..... I rate Pac against most/all of those guys, and two of those fights could be a real cracker.
