Kinda agree with roach. Canelo is pretty average. But cotto is not all that great too. Definitely a toss up fight

I'm still picking Cotto just because of Cotto's underrated jab and boxing ability. He was able to find Floyd and Manny with his jab and definitely don't see Canelo getting around it. However Canelo does have some serious pop and that could really disrupt everything. I'm not hedging just being honest. I can see Canelo winning if he starts landing big shots to the body consistently.

Right on! I'm picking cotto but I think he is a sucker for body shots. If canelo lands to the body he will stop cotto.

i agree with roach..canelo abused his body way too long now...saw the kid hitting th speed bag the other day and he reminded me of a ali at the end of his career when the parks was kicking in..not to be funny but seriously that is wat i saw in a 25 year old...he had no bounce in his feet..his back was straight..basically he was going through the motions..
then he grabs the jump rope and i swear i've seen brick layers show more finesse...i like the kid bc he took on trout and lara when he didnt have to, unlike GGG who makes excuses, but his career is basically just a popularity thing now
