Agree with both comments, cotto is a level above Canelo. Just hope cotto puts in a displinced performance and uses movement and angles until Canelo gets that same feeling he got in the mayweather fight, also remains to be seen how effective he get those body shots in, if he can excute that he wins handily.

Depends really what cotto shows up, if he started getting tagged early, he's in for a hard night but I'm tipping Miguel Angel to do it (barring any bs Canelo scorecards).

Though if Canelo wins, it'll be better for the sport, not sure how many fights cotto has left in him.

Canelo needs to put in on Cotto imho, dont let him settle but be smart, and he needs to fight to his strengths..... Cotto needs to use his experience, work dat body and be right in the fight come the later rounds.

Canelo is going to win this. Think we will see Cotto try to be the boxer, stay away from Canelo's power because he will get hit with something early on rounds 1-3, and just box and try to not get KO'ed for the rest of the fight. But the thing is Cotto is actually a good boxer, and he can survive better now that he used to before the 2010's. Because back then he was too brave for his own good, didn't like clinching or looking like he is "running" but now he accepts that to win you can't just fight fire with fire all the time. So I want to see how Cotto adjusts when he feels Canelo's power, and I want to see how Canelo fights if Cotto starts boxing. I think Cotto's best boxing performances where against Mosley and Margarito II. I think we will see that Cotto here, but I think Canelo still wins.

I think Cotto has plenty fight left him. At least judging by his last few fights. Cotto was just lazy up until roach. The reality is that trout troughly embarrassed Cotto. Rightly so. Cotto wasn't fully prepared. It was purely his fault.

Just because he took a couple beatings dident mean much. He as trainerless against manny(his fault for being a cheap bastard). Margarito most likely cheated and Cotto underestimated trout. I think Cotto learned some good lessons. He seems to be taking everything seriously. He his listening to roach and Gavin has him in incredible shape. Physically he has looked in Phenominal shape and reverted to his original gangster attack style of fighting. The proper Cotto will show up for Canelo. Trouble for Canelo.

I think this version kills manny, whioops trout and In my opinion has a good chance at beating floyd( not saying that he will). Basically Cotto is about to floyd Canelo. I'd bet my house on it( if I had two).
