Chatchai Sasakul beat Yuri Arbachakov for the Lineal who was in the P4P lists.

Either way my point is Titles even Lineal don't matter as much as opponent you faced. Marg better win in 06 then Baldomir, Pac better win in 10 then Mosley.

Mayweather Jr. had PLENTY of advantage to get his record.

      A. He cherry picked plenty of fighters avoiding the likes if Paul Williams, Margarito and prime Pacquiao and Moseley

      B. He benefited on a lot unsportsmanlike tactics (picking the opponents gloves, banned IV procedures, sucker punching an opponent)

      C. A few of his wins were questionable putting a definite stain on his 49-0 record (Castillo, DLH and even Pacquiao)

      D. He's on an era where corruption in boxing is one of the worst.

      E. Benefited on a flawed system where clinching isn't penalized and jabbing are rewarded. Under Mayweather fights, boxing has become a huge joke where a run and tag tactic is rewarded.

      SMH...

      End thread !

No and it wouldn't matter if you did. Going up in weight times four times against champions, contenders and the best fighters in the world in general is infinitely more impressive than beating a shot Joe Louis and a list of no name fighters who were probably 10-15 pounds heavier. It's not even debatable but you can try.

Baldo hahaha, But even if he was being accused of ducking Mosley what does that have to do with anything? Pac 2010 win still would be more better win legacy wise. I'm not trying to argue anything but Opponents who you fought>Titles. Again his 49-0 is better to me but not because of his great "titles" you claim.

Joe was almost 30 pounds heavier. You mention champions as if fighting a guy like victor Ortiz is some triumph. Floyd fans always mention how many champions he beat and the divisions he went through but never mention what great fighter he beat in his prime or even who those champions were because it's laughable. All you guys got is these silly references to "champions" like baldomir, Ortiz, maidana, etc. Rock and Floyd never beat an atg in their prime so we have to reference things outside of who they beat. For some reason you guys refuse to acknowledge anything Rock did such as going 49-0 in the heavyweight division, in 8 years. The time frames are totally different but you guys refuse to acknowledge that, you think guys like maidana would be 80-5 if he fought in rocks era and actually fought once a month.

                  • Aight.....how many of the guys on Floyd's resume could Marciano beat and visa versa? Pretty obvious when you look at it that way.

If we're speaking in reality and not the abstract, I think it's safe to say most heavyweights would hospitalize Floyd and all the opponents he's had. I'm certain Rock could do the same if he fought in this era. Speaking in the abstract is fine and creates conversation but let's not be ridiculous, p4p means ****all in reality and if you actually wanted to see who's truly the best you'd put them in the ring, but you can't because it would end in carnage. So, instead, we have these ****** conversations about hypothetical matchups that people actually take for reality.

                      Heavyweight>everyone else.
