Originally posted by Drunk Punch View PostThing is even though Khan was outboxing him, Garcia realised Khan's punches couldn't hurt him so he started timing counters and throwing as Khan did and so hit him with a huge overhand left. He figured Khan's timing out and he could do it again maybe even earlier.
Khan doesn't move straight back after throwing a combo any more, and it will be much harder for Garcia to catch him if they fight again.

Hunter’s right, Khan would most likely beat Garcia in a rematch. Matthysse would too. Despite his undefeated record Danny’s very limited and has been extremely fortunate on several occasions. Beating Garcia, another overweight 140 pounder, isn’t much to shout about though. Khan gets zero props until he starts mixing it with established, heavy handed, true welter’s.

This is why Khan hasn't fought anyone since they can't confidently put him in with anyone with even a slight dig.

He’s a cash cow that turned out to be a lemon. His handlers & backers invested loads into building Khan up based on a fantastic skill set or speed, accuracy and athleticism. Unfortunately you never know about a weak chin until later in somebody’s career. After they’ve faced stiffer competition. The PR around Khan has been to navigate through astonishing & stupendous losses and convince an immature audience that he’s the full package. That’s evidently untrue. He’s got the tools to be great, but that chin makes him very mediocre at best.
His management have done a great job at making Khan feel confident & legit. He actually believe the brainwashing. But, as we’ve seen time & time again, there’s no rush to put him in with a serious puncher. He’s be dog meat in 5 rounds max against Thurman or Brook.
