so if ggg doesn't do a lot of ppv buys he's a failure yet when ward doesn't get any viewers on free tv he's still a marquee name? makes no sense.
Thats subjective... the super 6 ratings were very good for a subcribed base channel... i didnt watch Wards last fight, because i didnt care for the opponent, But cmon... every hardcore fan knows who ward is...same with GGG... But popularity doesnt mean youre the A side... look at de la hoya, very popular but is the b-side to bernard hopkins...

And why do you put Words in my Mouth? Never said GGG's first Ppv if its a failure meant little G is a failure.. you took it that way... GGG needs his ppv to be a success if he wants to have any pull in negotiations with Ward.. thats all im saying..

Man, make the fight happen already. Don't wait till 2017. Also, while we're at it, give Golovkin the lion share of the purse because he deserves it. He is unquestionable the more marketable of the two and a bigger draw than Ward; Whose support is largely local and regional. He can potentially become the next crossover PPV star after Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

this is hilarious. everyone knows ward is going to cheat even long before the fight happens. what a great fighter. he can make people ignore the rules and he can even make them integrate his cheating into breaking down his fights.

You can tie up, its a strategy used to keep distance.. i disagree with your notion of it being illegal...

what happened now? hoya got 30 million. hopkins 10. how was hopkins the a-side? yeah hopkins was better especially at that weight but he took less money because he was less popular but thought he could win and turn that win into a career boost. ward is not willing to do what hopkins did so i don't understand your analogy.

He was the Marquee name on the bill...

Hopkins vs De La Hoya, not De La Hoya vs Hopkins is what i was pertaining to, since you questioned why Ward would be the Marquee name against Little G.

Notice that link is 2012 mate.. it's 2 thousand fcking 15.
Has he fought the Cotto Canelo winner ? And last I checked both of those guys were small men ..Yeah I know Cotto holds a mw belt but its be ok for GGG to fight the much smaller Cotto but Ward gets flack for GGG being a smaller man ..Ha ha ha the hypocrisy ! Oh and Canelo fights at jr mw guess he's serious about fighting anyone from 154-168 except Ward for him he needs a catchweight. Now that's truly Pathetic !

But still even with those fights his resume still won't be better than Ward's

And who cares when that link was ,he said it why not prove it he was ready for Chavez jr and Froch at 168 but when it comes to Ward he thinks he's an A side gtfo!!

read the rules. it's illegal. holding and tying up is the same thing but you are playing a semantics game. why were akwindade and other fighters dq'd if it's just a strategy? they were dq'd becaus it's illegal. unfortunately you have been conditioned to believe its just part of boxing because most of the time the cheaters get away with it.

I agree with the bold... i stated my opinion.. im still going to think Wards the A side of the equation until GGG beats a fighter like Canelo or Cotto.. Lemiuex really is GGG's best opponent of his career..We'll see what happens..
