Some people here seem to remember Oscar as being some really technical fighter.

He wasn't, he was as much a brawler as there was. He just had really fast hands and combination speed.

That's why he was so loved, dude came forward and let his hands go. I'd Say the Vargas fight was the first time he became more technical and measured.

Winky turned DLH down. He wanted a larger percentage of the PPV.

Oscar was a great boxer, man. He had the best jab of his era. Him and Quartey. You don't have that type of dominant jab as a "brawler". I do agree with the Vargas fight making him an even more complete boxer. You know why? it was because of Floyd Sr. I loved that version of Oscar under Floyd Sr. You?

If they lose, it would be based on skill, not height and weight. Unless we're talking about them being too big/tall and posses too much skill for their size.

          Mayweather:
          Corrales - 5'11"
          Hernandez - 6"
          DLH - 5' 10"

          Pacquaio:
          DLH - 5'10"
          Margarito - 5'11"
          Algieri - 5"10"

So I don't think either Pac or May would find their height all that daunting, more like their skill compared to their height/weight. Like Cotto fighting Geale vs fighting GGG, fighters with pretty similar physical attributes in height and weight, but differing skills.

Ya I liked that version quite a bit, but it was weird watching him when he went into the philly shell.

But Oscar was def a brawler. If an opponent wanted to find Oscar and trade with him, he wasn't hard to find.

That's a great question. Forest and Winky were two of the most underated fighters and they would give any fighter of any era alot of frustration .

I can't come up with a definitive answer because both fighters would anyone look bad.
I'll go with Mayweather beating them both because he just finds a way to win. Those fights would be so damn boring

Prime PAC beats them both because of his hand speed and incredible footwork.

Prime ODH would do well because of his height and reach and he's faster than both.

There's a reason why non boxing fans know who Floyd Pac and Oscar are. They were more than good pros.

Winky in his prime was a much better and bigger fighter than Forrest. Forrest was KOed by Mayorga and lost to Mayorga again in a rematch. Forrest also lost to Mora although he won a rematch. Guys like Mayorga and Mora wouldn't even win a round against Winky. Winky was a 154 pounder and a 160 pounder. I don't think Pacquiao or Mayweather or De La Hoya could beat a prime Winky. I think Pacquiao, Oscar and Mayweather would all beat Forrest who's main claim to fame was beating Mosley.

I don't know about Oscar and Manny but I think prime Floyd comfortable jumps in and out on Forrest and gives him a boxing lesson.

Prime Winky Wright is a tough night for anyone. I think I would definitely pick Winky to at least split 4 fights with Oscar/Manny. I think if we could put a prime Winky in with Oscar or Manny, I would definitely feel comfortable betting on Wright.

Floyd would give Forrest a boxing lesson? Now, how would he accomplish this? Floyd would get his ass whooped man. He has steered WAY clear of prime fighters with elite boxing skills his entire career. Forrest fits that build. He would beat Floyd up. Floyd has NO advantages. He would have to FIGHT to win. Is he known to do that? You cannot "pot shot" your way to victory against fighters like Forrest. No way.
