My issue has been with the noises from the Golovkin camp which have not been positive about a potential Ward fight or any move up in weight unless it's on their terms which are changing and becoming more unreasonable by the day. I'd like to see GGG-DeGale too but will they ever move up for that fight?

At least Ward has said that he'll move up and campaign at LHW and has already had positive discussions with Kovalev's people about that fight happening.

Camps talk **** all the time, it's aa part of the game. Golovkin's started running their mouth after his HBO debut, they were promoting him, which is understandable.

Abel Sanchez pissess me off, though.

If Canelo - Cotto ends up closer than I think and they'll do a rematch and Golovkin still won't move up then I'll start criticize him.

As of right now, he's a guy trying to get the biggest payday of his career, like every other prize fighter out there does, there's nothing wrong with that.

Draining himself? the guy walks around at 170 pounds tops. Peter Quillin, David Lemuix walk around pretty high. Peter is in the 190s, David the 180s, David used to be a chunky dude.

He isn't a guy who balloons in weight he is very lean and 160 is easy for him to make.

People who say Gennady hasn't moved up ever....He became a PRO IN 2006! He was already a grown man.

He is the same size as Canelo and could be making 154 for the size advantage but chooses to fight at 160.

The Hate is so strong its obvious this is the next superstar lolol
Well he is fighting that way meanwhile you have bums in England like Kell Brook who feast on guys like Porter by clinching for the majority of the fight to get the decision, I mean WTF!?!
What kind of bum champion does that, Porter was a better champ than Kelly ever was.

        • ggg is a small middleweight. he could have made 154 and fought floyd, but floyd obviously ducked.

Exactly, he shed 7lbs in a week to make 173, so 180 for 4 weeks is correct.

Wrong, he was 185, just like for most of his fights.

I'm calling bull**** on the bolded.

What positive discussions has Ward had with Duva? And when did Ward he say he is going to move up to LHW?

Duva wants the fight, and Roc would love Ward to fight anybody with a pulse. But the fight won't happen unless Ward wants it too, and he doesn't.

Check out this interview with Andre after the Floyd/Berto fight. When asked about Kovalev, just before the 1 min mark, Ward won't even speak Krusher's name.

"Critics want me to move up. They seem to be trying to push for that. But as always, I'm going to put my head together with my team, hit my knees and pray, and I'll do what's right for me and my family."

Ward isn't going to fight Kovalev.
