I don't really care about the outcome of Ward-GGG, I just want to see it happen sometime soon.
If GGG wins then cool. I'll hold my hands up and say he's truly an elite fighter.
You'd think his fans would want him to be given that kind of adulation but nope! They want to make every excuse in the book for it not to happen because they're scared of the outcome.
As for Ward, I'd like to see him fight DeGale as well least before he moves up to 175.
I get your point and I want this fight to happen too.
But I want GGG to fight the winner of Cotto - Canelo first.
Let Golovkin do his thing in his division and Ward do his in his division. A year from now this fight will be ****in huge.
Both Golovkin and Ward are the men in their divisions, but the problem is, Ward has already beaten all the main guys in his division so him moving up is more logical than Golovkin doing the same.
That Super Six was a ****in blessing in disguise to Ward.
GGG hasn't had a chance to beat his Froch and Kessler but It looks like he might finally get a chance, hopefully.
It has nothing to do with fear, at least in my case. I just want my guy to get a few decent wins before going after one of the best fighters in the world, that's all.
Andre Ward cements himself as the biggest coward in boxing, fighting within light heavyweight limit (ripe with PPV opponents Kov, Stevenson, Hopkins, etc) and calling out a guy who walks around at 165.
Can anyone dispute this?
Don't mistake me for a GGG fan by the way. I just want Ward to quit stalling and get killed on TV by p4p #1 Kovalev.
floyd moved up to jr midle weight to fight cotto who is not regarded as the top guy at the weight. He then fought Canelo at a catch weight.
GGG willing to fight frotch and Chavez jr at 168 and ward at a catch weight.
See the similarity?
Pac did the same when he first moved up to welterweight
Catchweight of 152 not 164, a catchweight that Canelo himself proposed.
GGG didn't move up from 130 and didn't win titles all the way through, and please don't tell me he came up from 140 cuz he was at 140 st the age of 17-18, when Floyd was 17 he was at 112.

If Golovkin gets Canelo/Cotto then obviously he has to take that but I don't want him wasting time with Andy Lee or whoever else. What's the point?
My issue has been with the noises from the Golovkin camp which have not been positive about a potential Ward fight or any move up in weight unless it's on their terms which are changing and becoming more unreasonable by the day. I'd like to see GGG-DeGale too but will they ever move up for that fight?
At least Ward has said that he'll move up and campaign at LHW and has already had positive discussions with Kovalev's people about that fight happening.
GGG is ok because he is too heavy at the weigh in they can just show him a picture of Ward. That will make him sh-t and piss away about 5lbs in 35 seconds.

So this guy Lemieux is gonna fight GGG, and he knew it, and still didn't take him too serious. He's within the weight limit he has to be but still 175lbs 30 days before a MW fight does not sound too professional. What was he doing, hanging out with Ricky Hatton? This guy is getting KO'ed faster than I had already imagined if he had actually taken this fight seriously. Good luck dropping 15lbs in 30 days, sounds like a lot to me. That can't be healthy. If I drop 15lbs in one month, it's cause i'm really starving myself.
