No idea about Bradley, but from the interviews I've seen about this. The problem was'nt so much the rematch clause as it was that Brook/Hearn pretty much wanted the same deal(location, money, etc.) if Rios somehow managed to win. If true, can't say I blame them for balking at that.

Not true. Hearn offered them the rematch in the USA if they won. Rios mentions nothing about the location of the rematch in his latest interviews because he was given an improved offer and still turned it down.

He just had a problem with the rematch clause which everyone knows is standard.

Quote from Rios - "If you think you can beat me then beat me. I don't want to fight you again"

I don't blame Rios for fighting Bradley because he still gets a world title shot and gets to fight in the US for it. But he's clearly lying to the public about the Brook fight - he was offered a very good deal.

Brook is Haymon property, this fight was never going to happen.

GTFO. Would like to know if Bradley has a rematch clause. No doubt he does.
If the rematch clause meant that it had to happen again in England, then Brook is a clown. Nobody is going to agree to that.

Had'nt seen that. Was going off a few Robert Garcia, interviews I saw. I agree that the fight with Bradley is better for him anyways, for the reasons you mentioned and the fact that he actually has a prayer against Bradley, I think Kell would of destroyed him.

Exactly!! If he wins then he gotta go back to England and fight Brook again. Brooks has home field again and his side will get more again.

Bottom line is Hearn pulled a fake negotiation. Fight wasn't meant to happen.

Boxing is going to go into a huge dry spell if Floyd really retires lol... I mean Brook won't even fight Rios without going full diva mode..and Khan won't fight him...

If Canelo beats Cotto..which I'm starting to lean towards..Cotto will be at the end of the road...

With the exception of Pacquiao and the Cotto/Canelo winner you will have no legit PPV stars in boxing...

How much longer can Pac fight at a high level? He's 36, relies on his speed and is already showing signs of declining...

It'll be up to HBO and Showtime to start demanding fights and forcing these promoters to work together...

Al Haymon won't last in this sport...he's already been blackballed by HBO... after the PBC fails on these other networks... Showtime will be the only company left and the fighters will stop singing Haymon's praises as soon as they stop making money because Showtime only has so many dates...

I know this article is about Brook...but what Brook is doing and a few other fighters are killing the sport..they are trying to act like they are Mayweather status..and they aren't...

the first offer was rematch in England, same money same everything if he won, and they turned that down and hearns wouldn't budge on that only when Rios was already in talks for the bradley fight did they try to change it up but guess what its too late now. They were trying to railroad Rios with a shitty offer cause they thought he had no option but then the bradley option opened up then they tried to sweeten the deal but like I said too late cause now Rios was entering into negotiations with Bradley and wanted that fight and look they had a hiccup but it got made, why because they negotiated, brook/hearn didn't want to negotiate with Rios its was their deal or nothing at first. So kick rocks, go fight chaves and enjoy the head butts, cuts and eye gauging.
