Why is Crawford and Matthysse not in the works?

Matthysse vs Postol is top ranks vs golden boys

Top Rank just has options on Postol, kind of like they did Provo for a certain number of fights. He's not with Top Rank.

Usually a boxer waits for the outcome of one big fight before making another big fight. Matthysse is a hell of a fighter but so is the man he is fighting. He is not a sure thing to win. I think he wants to give this fight 100% of his effort and attention and worry about Crawford after his current fight is over.

I like Pac-Crawford but the only problem is we don't get to find out who is the 140 king. Crawford-Matthysse could have come before Pac-Crawford.

if thats the fight that gets made fine but wouldnt it make more sense for pac to fight the winner of a matyssee crawford fight?

ya no doubt about that just cause the guy hes fighting has not been on usa television dont mean nothing i agree with that but thats why i meant if matyssee wins and since when does arum and gbp not start promoting fights before fights get over?

Matthysse was actually Crawford's mandatory and the WBO President wanted the fight.

Only question I have is whether Golden Boy wanted the Crawford bout or preferred the easier Postol bout. We may never find out.

Yeah, man!! Lucas has to go for Pac. Imam and Crawford can continue to build themselves up fighting other guys or each other for all I care.
