He's not going to take the risk of Crawford getting iced by Matthysse if he can put him in with Pacquiao and win either way.
Pac Crawford is a more interesting fight IMO anyway.

Lucas has Postol now. And if he wins he gets imam.

    So what's the problem?

Basically. Arum likes to keep fights in house, so he doesn't have to split profits with anyone. He also isn't going to have one of his guys lose to a rival promoter unless it's for major bucks. That's actually why I like the idea of pbc, just not the execution, so far. Have all the guys under one entity so we don't have greedy pricks blocking fights.

Anyway, this practice has been going on for years and is only getting worse. Part of being a fan, sadly.

are you still going to want to see the fight if Postol beats Matthysse? There is a solid chance that can happen...

Crawford could fight Benavides, Herrera, Vargas etc. too. I'm sure the plan is to build him along as he climbs in weight

Arum also turned down lucas for manny
Remember when he was pissed off at hbo because they were trying to match make for him? One of the fights hbo wanted was lucas vs crawford

That big pr campaign oscar and arum did about ending the cold war to try make haymon look bad even tho haymon is only one willing to enter purse bids. If they are serious this fight will happen soon.

Maybe im not being fair but with all the bs people talk about everything else imo they should be just as serious about this fight happening

To be fair it was more of gbp trying to end the Cold War. Arum will only use gbp when necessary

based on what? Aside from height and reach I don't see what postol brings to the table.
