He has to beat Brook or Pacquiao to get The Ring title.

In fact, how many of those wins are against genuine welterweights?
Your career resume doesn't just evaporate because of 7 lb. I've never understood this argument.

Sure you don't move up from being champ at 140 and instantly get awarded a 147 belt, but you don't start from 0 either.

I didn't say his career resume evaporates but I don't see how wins against junior welterweights makes you "the man to beat at 147".

Even his wins at 147 are against 140lbers.

If you keep on making petty pathetic criteria like that soon you just wont be able to appreciate talent not even when it comes up and slaps you right on the face.

obviously the only truly tested are pac and bradley. They are the two to beat. Yall say bradley is past is prime but he only looked terrible relatively speaking cuz he likes to brawl rather than box. He still possess elite boxing skills.

What petty criteria are you talking about?

That you have to beat welterweights to be the best welterweight?

I could go for a WW Super 6 tourney.

                  Bradley
                  Brook
                  Khan
                  Thurman
                  Porter
                  Garcia

Not sure Maidana can still make WW or even wants to fight anymore. Pac is too far gone for a whole tourney.

Maybe make it a Super 8 and throw Ali and Spence in there.

This dude is where Keith Thurman was 3 years ago.

He needs to fight better competition.

The current top 6 welterweights need to fight it out for #1.
