To me Mayweather clearly over-trained for the fight and got dehydrated, thus the need for the IV. What was done is so common in WADA administered sports that I can't believe this is even news. I even read that Pacquioa's people were informed of the IV, Do you think that if a 100m runner was granted a TUE that his/her opponent would even know they had one until way after the 100m final.Comment

Man just imagine if Manny had this type of fight in him on May 2. I gotta give it up for the fanatics, even when they have nothing they continue on in hopes of winning a topic they simply can not.
Kudos guys, keep giving us laughable posts.Comment

hahahaha ur a dunce. even if u think floyd was dehydrated (which is complete malarkey and a joke, but i will play along), then why didn't he go to the local hospital to receive iv therapy there??? he wouldn't need a tue in that case because it would have been administered in a medical setting to treat severe dehydration. HMMMMMMMMMMMM hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.Last edited by Divine Hammer; 09-17-2015, 03:46 PM.Comment

Overtraining is something that can be treated with rest and oral rehydration. The use of IVs are intended for medical emergencies only. For example, If Floyd was visibly struggling just to make it onto the scales, but that clearly wasn't the case, he displayed no symptoms that are common with extreme dehydration. Furthermore, the NSAC and Top Rank weren't notified of the IVs until 3 weeks later. To me Mayweather clearly over-trained for the fight and got dehydrated, thus the need for the IV.
